What is only $20 and gets an art/design geek excited and drunk?

URBIS DESIGN DAY!
Every year Urbis magazine puts on an event whereby fashion designers and furniture design shops work in unison to "dress up" their interiors with something interesting and provide delicious snacks and high class booze. They also provide taxis for free and cart you around from shop to shop.

New IronlaK spray paints!

Hooray! treated myself to a few pretty and colourful paints from IronlaK. Only $7.50 a can sooo cheap! Then young man at Loaded on High street was super helpful in color selection :) unfortunately I had to lug all 10 cans of them around with me through the opening night of "The Society of Brilliant Ideas" who thought spray paint could be that heavy?

Here is a pic of the paints all lined up in a pretty row. Also a pic of a blue rabbit I did after getting annoyed at my stencils that were not agreeing with me -.-

Illustration Festival

Hi friends :)

I am currently working on some peices to put towards an Illustration festival which will be held at the Crowne Hall Plaza March 26th-28th. We each have a 2.3m x 1.2m board to fill so am trying to show a range of work hoping to get noticed! It is amongst 210 other artists, 69 of which are from Japan. Here are some peices I have been working on today for the exhibition, my first attempts at stenciling which was very fun! Can't wait to do some bigger ones!
